Pet Adoption Project

One of the main objectives of the Faeries Relocation Centre is to help abandoned Neopets. We usually go to the pound, adopt a Neopet, and train it, change its info, edit its webpage, and care for it. When it's been transformed into an adoptable pet, we put it in the pound and wait for it to be adopted. When someone adopts the neopet(usually in an hour or two), we send them a message thanking them and ask to keep in contact with them.

Abandoned Pets: If you abandoned your pet and it still hasn't found a good home yet, we'll be glad to adopt it. Please email us with your pet's name and give us 5 days to reply. Be assured that your pet will be in good hands, cared for, and loved.

For Owners who want to abandon Neopets: First, please rethink the topic - if you can't afford to take care of it, we'll help you by providing you with food and other necessities(only for pets that fit the help requirements - see below). Second, if you really want to abandon it and it doesn't have a good chance of being adopted(low stats, sick, unpopular pet), let us know a day beforehand and we'll adopt it. Again, we promise it'll be well-cared for.

For Owners who wish to adopt Neopets: Please email us with your preference and give us a week to reply. We'll use your idea of a good pet to find you one that you'll love.

Aid Requirements:
Please remember that this program is only for owners who cannot afford to take care of their Neopet and not a free-for-all.

1. Owner cannot get np(slow Internet access, can't play games, little time to go on Neopets). Must neomail with the reasons.

3. The things that are sent to you must be used only for your Neopet(s). If we find out that our help is being exploitated, we'll put you on the site's Wall of Warning and ignore future requests for aid.

Aid Packages:
There will be different levels of aid based on your need. They are listed below and are subject to change.

Aid: 12 food items per week for up to 3 weeks
2 toys per month for up to 4 months
2 grooming items per month for up to 4 months
Up to 2,000np in medicine per month

Aid: 9 food items per week for up to a month
2 toys per month for up to 3 months
1 grooming item per month for up to 3 months
Up to 1000np in medicine per month

Regular Need: 2 Neopets that cannot be independantly taken care of
6 food items per week for up to one month
1 toy per month for up to 3 months
1 grooming item only
Up to 500np in medicine per month

Little Need: 1 pet that cannot be independantly cared for
3 food items per week for two weeks
1 toy per month for up to 2 months
1 grooming item
Up to 500np in medicine per month

Temporary Need: Any number of Neopets that need temporary help(owner is currently poor or has been hacked)
3 food items
1 toy
Up to 500np in medicine if needed
